I used Adobe InDesign as well as Adobe Illustrator to create this project. I created a poster and a brochure for an art gallery exhibit for Lauren Hom. I designed these pieces based on her designs. I wanted to make sure that they were filled with a lot of bold and fun colors, funky graphics, and different typography to represent Lauren Hom’s designs. I loved getting to work with both graphics and typography in this project.

The Design Process
Moodboard

Mood Board and Inspiration - Lauren Hom's work is so whimsical and bold. I wanted to use colors from her art to create the exhibition materials. In addition, I chose a script font to capture the feel of her hand lettering.

Sketches -I started off by sketching out different variations of the names for the different exhibition titles. I wanted to keep them fun and creative, while tying in the hand lettering and the food aspects that the show would be featuring.
Initial Concepts - After looking over my sketches, I chose my two favorite ones, and  I created two different concepts in Illustrator for the art exhibition posters. From here, I chose the "Food for Thought" design to create the other items for the campaign.
